The CAR is a sports centre dedicated to high-performance sport, providing the highest scientific-technical quality to top-level sportsmen and federations.
The CAR began its activities in 1987 after the selection of Barcelona as the Olympic venue. It was set up to serve as an instrument for the improvement of high-performance athletes. It has modern sports facilities designed for cutting-edge training techniques and a modern physiology laboratory, as well as first-rate scientific equipment.
The CAR, The CAR, always concerned about getting the maximum performance from its athletes, after verifying the scientific basis of sports supplements, as well as their effectiveness in professional athletes, has decided to sign an agreement through which POWERGYM has become a supplier of the CAR in the field of sports supplements and nutrition.
Several POWERGYM products are recommended by the CAR to amateur and athletes and professional athletes due to their effectiveness, quality and safety in terms of the absence of impurities and banned substances which would test positive in a doping control, thus protecting the health and standing of the athlete.
With this agreement, once again, POWERGYM has proven to be the reference of the highest quality, effectiveness and innovation within the Spanish market of sports supplements.

Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero is a Spanish GP motorcycling rider. He has twice been world champion in the 250cc category in 2006 and 2007, and three times world champion in MotorGP in 2010, 2012 and 2015. He tells us what guidelines he follows in his sports nutrition and supplementation in order to be able to face challenges every day in his sports career:
"Riding in MotorGP is not easy. In addition to a great technical skill, in order to withstand the strong pace in races and training, intense physical preparation is essential. That's why, like most professional athletes, riders also do a lot of physical training. And of course, food and sports supplements are vital to keep up the pace.
To always maintain an optimal state of hydration I use ISOPOWER, both in training and in competitions, and if the exercise is resistance I always tak ENERGYPLUS, before the sesion, so I know that before starting I am full of energy. If I am in a period of strength work I use CREAPLUS, and when finishing the trainings and the competition the recuperators that I usually take are RECOPLUS and GLUTAPOWER. And finally, before starting a race I take POWERBOMB, so from the beginning I am full of energy and have total concentration."

"Hi, I'm Nani Roma, raid rider. I got to know the sports supplements POWERGYM, thanks to my trainer Lluís Capdevila and the CAR of Sant Cugat. For us it is very important that the sports supplements supplements we take are endorsed by professionals and, above all, by centres such as the CAR, where their doctors and professionals certify that everything is in order.
I use POWERGYM sports supplements both to train and to recover, not only during the races and raids in which I participate, but also in my training with road and mountain bikes to get in shape for raids.
The sports supplements I use the most are: POWERBOMB, ISOPOWER, POWER MASS and the WHEY BAR bars.
The most spectacular sports supplement and that suits me very well is the Powerbomb, and I thoroughly recommend it. I take it before starting the activity, both to train and to compete with the car. It makes me maintain strength and concentration which are vitally important to train well and to compete.
I take the bars during training and also in competition, inside the car it is difficult to find products that are easy to carry and eat, and the WHEY BAR which, apart from having a very good taste helps me feel streng during training or racing.
The ISOPOWER ISOPOWER I take, as with other sports supplements, both in training and racing. I have been able to verify the effectiveness of the sports supplement, the day I forget to carry it with me on the bike I don't feel that I am training efficiently. To be clear, do not think that with ISOPOWER I ride like a professional cyclist, but without it my training is not so effective, and the truth is that makes me feel much better.
The last sports supplement that I use the most is POWERMASS, which is very good for me to recover after a workout, but where I use it more is in racing and after each stage. I always carry some POWERMASS bags in my car, and when I finish a stage, it's the first thing I take. It's a fundamental sports supplement to recover well after a big stage!
In short, I take POWERGYM because their sports supplements are safe and because they give me fantastic results and moreover, because, although some still think that to drive you don't need good physical preparation and nutrition, the truth is that it is essential to have a real chance of success in professional sport.
To finish I would also like to thank all the people at POWERGYM who have helped me so much over the last few years with my physical preparation, which has helped me to achieve success as a professional driver.

His technical and physical training are key elements that he takes very much into account, as well as sports nutrition. "My training helps me to be as fit as possible, and is hard and intense. The bike demands a lot from you physically and you have to be very well prepared to do your best. "For me it was essential to choose a brand of high quality supplements that would give me peace of mind and security, for this reason I chose POWERGYM. In fact, I train at the CAR in Sant Cugat and I see how many athletes also use POWERGYM supplements".
Álex has his favourites, such as Isopower during training and Recoplus after training. He says "they are essential as they provide me with the nutrients I need while I train and above all they help me recover before the next training session". He also takes Hidroxycrom, "as I follow a fairly strict diet to control my weight and this sometimes causes me anxiety, I use this supplement to calm the anxiety and not feel so hungry. Also, when I need a little extra energy and concentration I use the Powerbomb".
"The supplements in my sport are similar to endurance sports and two supplements that are basic for everyone are Isopower and Powerbomb," says the 2013 runner-up in the Moto 3 World Championship.

Now, he faces 2019 with enthusiasm and clear objectives, among which he aims to be placed in the Top 10 in the world as well as having the best possible preparation for the Olympic Games of Tokyo 2020.

Tamara Gómez, , born in Elche, is an international triathlete. From a very young age, she enjoyed swimming, horseback riding and athletics until she discovered triathlon at the age of 18. She trained at the C.A.R. Blume in Madrid for 5 years, but she established herself among the elite of the sport in 2013 when she was sixth in the U23 World Championship. In 2015 Tamara began preparation to book her Olympic place for Rio 2016 and got her biggest win to date: World Cup champion in Mooloolaba (Australia). She also became Ibero-American Champion and Spanish Champion.
In February 2016, when she was immersed in the Olympic classification, she fractured a vertebra and this kept her away from the sport for 7 months, so she could not qualify for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games nor could she compete that season.
For an athlete of her stature and with the constant and strong tenacity she has shown in recent years, which has made 2019 the year to prove her worth, sports supplements are vital for her to be able to achieve her goals.
Tamara takes quite a wide range of POWERGYM products, and due to the nature of her sport this nutritional help is extremely important for her. She uses ISOPOWER, RECOPLUS, TURBOGEL, ISOPOWER GEL, SALTS and GLUTAPOWER, among other supplements, but these are the ones she usually consumes, both in competition and training periods, as having a correct hydration and recovery, are essential for maintaining strong performances and resistance in her sporting life.

High-performance athletes are clear that recovery is important, but for me it is much more, I consider it as another part of my training. The more we take care of our body the better it will respond for us. And who does not want to feel good and give their best? So it's very important to take care of our needs and that's why I trust POWERGYM. I tried their sports supplements some time ago and since then I decided that they would be my allies in such a demanding event as the 20 kilometers walk at the highest level. In addition, their products are scientifically tested and they are suppliers of the CAR-High Performance Centre of Sant Cugat-Bcn so it gives me a confidence and security because health is our greatest treasure.
"ISOPOWER, GLUTAPOWER, RECOPLUS and BCAA'S. These are my faithful companions in the training backpack.
ISOPOWER. It's the drink I take during training and competitions, which helps me replenish the sodium and potassium deposits I lose over the miles. In addition, it contains carbohydrates and antioxidants that help to delay the symptoms of tiredness, so it is important for endurance sports. If the benefits it gives you attract your attention, as soon as you taste its taste you will love it.
GLUTAPOWER and BCAA'S. They're my "treats" after a demanding training session. Many muscle fibers are destroyed after training and these sports supplements help me speed up the process of muscle recovery so I can face the next training session in better conditions. I combine these sports supplements with RECOPLUS on the days I train longer, as it contains macronutrients and antioxidants needed after training.
Before competitions or heavy training I use POWERBOMB, a sports supplement that greatly improves energy and concentration. As a basic supplement I use VITAPOWER, a special mineral polyvitamin to cover the needs of athletes, which also contains Ginseng."

Jordi was born in Barcelona in 1980. In 2000, at the age of 20, he suffered a traffic accident that caused a spinal cord injury. Until then, he had not considered dedicating himself to sport, but he saw at that moment an opportunity to make the most of the situation and be happy thanks to athletics. It wasn't easy, in his first marathon he took twice as long as now. But with effort, dedication, sacrifice and desire, he became one of the Spanish marathon runners who compete internationally. In 2008, he competed in his first Paralympic Games in Beijing.
Although he could not qualify in London to participate in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, he has not given up his passion for sport and continues working to improve every day.
Jordi has been with POWERGYM for several years, and his favourites are: ISOWHEY 100, POWER MAGNESIUM PLUS, RECOPLUS and VITAPOWER, , essential for his sporting objectives.

These two brothers will give us a lot to talk about in the coming years. They are already becoming quite well known, and are making people sit up and take note in the world of triathlon.
Arnau was born in 1997. His brother Guillem, two years later. They were introduced to triathlon by their uncle Jordi Vidal. They train hard every day, hoping to become as well known as the Brownlee brothers, the Godoy, the Casillas or the Alonso sisters.
They have been faithful to the brand POWERGYM since the start of their carreers. They love products in bar format (for convenience), such as WHEY BAR, RECOPROTEIN and ENERGUMMY, along with those that help them stay hydrated in training and competitions, such as SALTS, ISOPOWER and to increase the resistance ISOPOWER GEL and TURBOGEL. Before races they take ENERGYPLUS, and of course, they do not leave home without RECOPLUS and GLUTAPOWER, to take after sports activity and recover more quickly.

Javier Carrascosa (to those who know him, Xavi), defines himself as a lover of the mountains. He likes competing and challenging himself, but for him the sport and the mountain, are, above all, a way of life and a way of being.
Xavi is an Athlete, UltraTrail Runner, Alpinist and Climber, a truly multi-taleneted athlete, obtaining a great deal of success in a range of sporting competitions.
Xavi Carrascosa gives us some guidelines that he follows in his competitions and trail running training, always bearing in mind that all the athletes of this sport undergo very long and demanding training, where muscular wear and tear is very important. For this reason, there are 3 basic supplements that are never missing in Xavi's sports nutrition:ENERGYPLUS, ISOPOWER and RECOPLUS.
ENERGYPLUS is an aid to hydration with a high glycemic index that will help us to fill up the muscle glycogen reservoirs so that we can train with plenty of energy, It also delays the onset of fatigue in such a way that we can lengthen the training time It also contains electrolytes, which facilitate effective hydration before exercise.
ISOPOWER. It is a professional electrolyte drink with vitamins, minerals and electrolytes, which will help you replace the electrolytes and salts that you lose through sweating and, therefore, will help you not to become dehydrated. ISOPOWER will also improve our energy levels because it is formulated with carbohydrates so it will delay the onset of fatigue. Finally, it contains maritime pine extract in a way that will help us avoid muscle cramps. It should be taken during training and competitions dissolved with water.
RECOPLUS. It is a complete recovery supplement with carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals, in optimum doses, which will help us to recover quickly and effectively after training. It should be taken dissolved in water within 45 minutes after training or competition.
If you also want to get a an energy boost, it is advisable to take POWER FIRE UP. A very effective pretraining supplement that will improve your energy production systems, delay the onset of fatigue and improve our concentration.
During the race, at times of 'downturn', you can take a vial of POWERBOMB, as it improves the use of fat as fuel, saves muscle glycogen, improves muscle contraction strength and delays the onset of fatigue
Finally, to avoid joint damage it is advisable to take a supplement such as POWERFLEX. This is a concentrate of high purity mucopolysaccharides, with shark cartilage extract, vitamins and minerals that restore the damaged structure of cartilage and, therefore, restore its properties of elasticity and resistance to compression.
