-How does carnitine help, if I am doing fitness training?

L-Carnitine has typically been used as a sports supplement to reduce body fats, its important role in the transmission of fatty acids to mitochondria and its role in the oxidation of fatty acids can be an argument in explaining its effectiveness as a sports supplement.

It is also known to protect muscle mass along with its anti-catabolic role. At a purely scientific level; the effectiveness of Carnitine is speculative as, in spite of many studies having been carried out, there isn’t a single one that has been even a little bit conclusive. However, some recent studies have appeared which indicate an improvement in the oxidation of carbohydrates after long-term supplementation.

-What distinguishes CARNITIN PLUS from other Carnitine sports supplements?

CARNITIN PLUS contains some substances which improve the concentration of Carnitine in the blood and therefore in the muscle pool. This will augment its effectiveness in comparison with Carnitine on its own. A probable augmentation of Carnitine in transport and ultimately in the muscle pool has been seen in subjects supplemented with Carnitine and trained. The concomitant action of the exercise along with supplementation is known in other supplements such as creatine.

Should I take Carnitine every day, or only on training days?

Although you can take Carnitine Plus only on training days, half an hour before a session, we recommend taking it also on rest days to take full advantage of effects such as; its anti-catabolic effect, reduction in the production of uric acid, helping to reduce recovery time after training.
