WHAT IS IT FOR?

Its primary objective is to replenish fluids, carbohydrates and electrolytes expended during exercise, in an effective way, thanks to its rapid absorption.

WHAT BENEFITS DOES IT PROVIDE?

    1. Hydration

During exercise, the body loses water (body dehydration), as well as different important components of body hydration. It is therefore advisable to maintain adequate hydration to avoid functional impairment of muscles and tendons.

    2. Carbohydrate Replenishment

During physical activity, glycogen levels decrease. To maintain them and provide the muscle with energy quickly, ISOTONIC isotonic drink contains carbohydrates that help to prolong this energy.

It also contains Glutamine, an active ingredient that delays fatigue through its anti-catabolic function, allowing the muscle not to lose power.

    3. Electrolyte replenishment

Sweating can also cause the loss of electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and magnesium, the muscle depletes its energy sources and increases oxidative stress which damages muscle fibres. ISOTONIC electrolyte drink contains the main electrolytes and helps replenish normal levels of these beneficial minerals (electrolyte balance), as well as supporting the functioning of the nervous system.

WHEN AND HOW TO TAKE IT?

ISOTONIC should be taken during activity for continuous rehydration.

Dissolve one dose in 500ml of water, take during exercise, once a day.

• 1 DOSE = 3 dispensers or the contents of one sachet. 

Dosage recommendations:

During exercise, it is recommended to start fluid replacement 15 minutes after the start of the activity and continue drinking every 15-20 minutes.

In training or competitions lasting less than 1 hour, but which are intense, it is recommended to drink fluids containing sodium. 

In addition, the rate of sweating depends on each person and the environmental conditions, so if the environment is hot and humid, you can lose up to 3 litres of sweat per hour, which will mean a large loss of electrolytes that need to be replenished. In these situations, it is also advisable to consume at least half a litre of liquid with mineral salts during the hour before the start of exercise.

If the duration of the exercise is going to be longer than 1 hour, it is also advisable to consume between 30-60g of carbohydrates, so you could add 2 doses of isotonic product to the drink or combine it with the intake of a bar, gel or gummy.
