REUSABLE HYGIENIC MASKS 3 LAYERS

Reusable hygienic masks which meet the specifications of STANDARD UNE-0065.

The masks are made of a material that meets the bacterial filtration and breathability conditions set by the UNE-EN-14683 Standard. Being this an acceptance criterion demanded by the sanitary and administrative authorities for its consideration as "Hygienic Mask".

These masks have been manufactured always thinking about your well-being and protection, both to use in your sports practice, due to their breathability, and to be able to use it in your day to day. 

The best materials have been used in its manufacture so that its use is comfortable and soft with your skin, while complying with the highest quality standards, without forgetting the discreet design that we have made. 

Remember, the mask is not a medical device or part of personal protective equipment.

THE HYGIENIC MASKS PURPOSE OF THIS SPECIFICATION MUST:

  • Cover nose, mouth and chin.
  • Be made of a suitable reusable filter material.
  • Be made of reusable material that allows breathing.
  • Use reusable materials that do not pose a known risk of irritation or adverse health effects when in contact with the user's skin.
  • Ensure a proper fit with the face. 

PLACING THE MASK

It is recommended to place the mask on bare skin (that is, without the presence of hair in contact with the user's skin and, for some people, shaved skin) and respect the following steps:

  1. Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution before handling your mask.
  2. Identify the top of the mask.
  3. Position the mask on the face, at the level of the nose. If a nose clip is available, adjust it to the nose.
  4. Hold the mask from the outside and hold the headgear behind it or on both sides of the ears, without crossing them.
  5. Lower the bottom of the mask to the chin.
  6. Verify that the mask covers the chin.
  7. Pinch the nose clip with both hands to fit the nose (if any).
  8. Verify that the mask is correctly positioned. For this it is necessary to verify the sealing and the absence of respiratory discomfort.
  9. Once adjusted, do not touch the mask with your hands. If the user needs to touch the mask, they should previously wash their hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution.

REMOVING THE MASK

  • To avoid contamination when removing a mask, the following steps should be followed:
  • Take off protective gloves.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution.
  • Remove the mask without touching the front of the mask.
  • If the mask is to be reused, see the section on how to wash and dry. If it is to be discarded, see the Disposal section of the mask.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water or rub them with a hydroalcoholic solution.

DURATION OF MAXIMUM CONTINUED USE:

  • For comfort and hygiene reasons, it is recommended not to wear the mask for more than 4 hours.
  • The mask should be washed every time it becomes dirty, moistened, or cannot be placed correctly on the face.
  • If it is to be temporarily stored, contact with any surface should be avoided.
  • It also should not be placed in a waiting position on the forehead or under the chin during and after use.

WASHING AND MAINTENANCE

  • 10 cycles of washing by hand, at 60ºC (UNE-EN ISO 6330 program 6N) and air drying (UNE-EN ISO 6330: 2012, type A).
  • It must be washed by hand, diluting 30 ml of lye in 970 ml of water, warm to 60ºC, immerse the mask leaving it in this solution for about 20 minutes, and let it air dry, hanging in a clean place.
  • Contact between a dirty mask (to be washed) and clean clothing should be avoided. The person in charge of the washing must protect himself to handle the dirty masks.
  • It is recommended that the mask dry completely within 2 hours after washing. It should not be dried or sanitized with a microwave oven.
  • Both during drying and subsequent storage of the mask, environments in which the mask may become contaminated again should be avoided.
  • After each wash cycle, a visual inspection (with protective gloves or washed hands) should be performed. If any damage to the mask is detected (minor fit, deformation, wear, etc.), the mask should be discarded.
  • Store in a clean and dry place and at a temperature between -20ºC and + 30ºC with a relative humidity.

DISPOSED

  • To reduce the risk of using these masks, it should be noted that once the maximum number of washes has been exceeded, they should be discarded.
  • The masks should be discarded in a container provided with a plastic bag, preferably with a lid and non-manual control (pedal to open the lid). It is recommended to use a double bag to preserve the contents of the first bag in case of tearing of the outer bag.

WARNINGS

This device is not a medical device within the meaning of Directive 93/42 or Regulation EU / 2017/745, nor is it a personal protective equipment within the meaning of Regulation EU / 2016/425.

The hygienic mask does not exempt the user from the application of barrier gestures complemented by social distancing measures that are essential in accordance with the recommendations indicated by the Spanish Ministry of Health.

For the mask to be effective, it must be used correctly as indicated below, for this reason, the placement, use and removal of children's hygienic masks must be supervised by an adult.
